How to fix a broken Spanish fan

How to fix a broken Spanish fan the easy way

I love belly dancing with props. Dancing with a Spanish hand fan is refreshing and gives your dancing a nice Flamenco feel. My favourite ones are peacock Spanish fans. They look very pretty and come in so many colours!

However, the small practice plastic fans seem to fall apart after a few weeks. It’s very upsetting and sometimes happens in the most inconvenient times like just before the performance.

In the past, I always carried a spare fan just in case. Luckily, there is a quick fix – a cable tie! It’s easy to do anywhere in five minutes.

Conclusion

If your Spanish fan gets broken, don’t despair and try using cable ties. It works wonders. You can always keep a few spare ones in your bag just in case. Other dancers might need a quick fix too and you will be ready to save the day!
